What happens after I buy an oven?
Customised colour
After you purchase an oven, we will reach out to you to confirm all the details. We will email you with your purchase information, including confirmation of your chosen color options, accessory, delivery details, and any other relevant information.
Home delivery
Currently, we offer a special promotion of free delivery to your local depot. You can pick up your purchased oven from the depot or our Christchurch workshop if you are a local customer, at no additional cost. If you prefer home delivery, we will calculate the price based on your specific access scenarios and location. Due to the size and weight of the parcel, the shipping company may refuse home delivery or charge an additional fee if there are obstacles such as hills, steep, unpaved or narrow driveways, or difficult truck access.
If you are interested in delivery, please provide us with your address and mobile number.

To set up the oven at its destination, we provide detailed instructions and guidance, including crane services if necessary. We offer full support throughout the process to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Professional Installation: Order crane service for a stress-free oven placement in its final position.
DIY Installation with Support: Use an engine crane, which you can hire from us or your local mechanic workshop, and follow our instructions and safety guide for a smooth setup. We’ll provide additional advice and assistance if needed.
Local Delivery & Installation: For a hassle-free experience, utilize our local delivery and installation service.
Timeline
Depending on your choice, we can prepare the oven for pick-up the next day after purchase if we have it in stock and already finished. If we need to finish a raw oven to your specifications, this can take about 5 days. Building a new oven usually takes up to 2 weeks. During high season, such as before Christmas, the waiting time may exceed two weeks.
Curing process
All masonry holds some moisture after construction. Rapid heating can turn this moisture into steam, which can expand and cause cosmetic cracks or, in extreme cases, structural damage to your oven. To prevent this, it's crucial to properly cure your new oven.
Curing is a simple process that involves using small amounts of sustained heat to gradually evaporate the moisture from the oven parts. This ensures that when you later fire your oven at maximum temperature, it won't cause any issues.
We'll send you detailed instructions on curing your oven to ensure it operates smoothly and brings you joy for many years to come.
